Sydney, July 27. • There is an extensive creep in tha Broken Hill Central mine, and big craoka havo appeared. ■ . , A large area of the surface portion of the shaft to the 500 ft level collapsed. The majority of the men bad previously been withdrawn. A few remaining got safely out. Tho damage below has not been ascer* tained. The men working on the boundary stopeß of block 10 of the South mines have been withdrawn as a measuro of safety. Altogether 1100 mon have been thrown out of work, but it is hoped oDly temporarily.
