A FLUTTER IN MILLING CIRCLES

The Daily Times states that a flutter was caused in milling circles by an intimation from tho headquarters of the FJour Milling Association that a reduction of ill per ton in the price of flour, from £l3 to £l2, had been made to check importations. At a hastily convened meeting, the Dunedin millers declined to accept the reduction, contending that at the present price of wheat it is impossible to sell at £l2. Christchurch, last night.

The Millers’ Association has reduced :he price of flour by £1 per ton. Quotalions now are £l2 to £l3.
