A meeting of tbo Management Committee of the Poverty Bay Cricket Association was bold at tho Masonic Hotel at 5 o’clock yesterday afternoon, and was at-, tonded by Messrs Hawkins (in the chair), Cuosar, Cumming, Barlow, Macdonald, Hill, and Gibson (hon. sec.) Tho following dates wore confirmed for tho continuation of tho senior competitions :—Thursday competition : Jan. 22nd, Kaiti-City v. Whataupoko ; Jan. 29tli, Whataupoko v. West End ; Feb. sth, Wost End v. KaitiCity. Saturday competition : Jan. 24th, United v. Wost End ; Jan. 3lst, United v. County ; Feb. sth, West End v. KaitiCity. Considerable discussion took place on the question of affiliating with the Hawke’s Bay Cricket Association, and eventually it was resolved, on tho motion of Messrs Barlow and Hill, that the Secretary’s action in committing tho Association to affiliation with the Hawke's Bay Association bo confirmed.
