English Cricketers.
By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, last night. At a meeting of the New Cricket Council to-night, Mr J. N. Fowke was appointed selector of the New Zealand team against Lord Hawke. A telegram was read from Sir Joseph Ward stating that tickets available over all the railway lines would be granted to Lord Hawks’s team at a total cost of £2O.
