A tender for tho erection of Marist Brothors’ College at Ponßonby has been accepted, and tho work of tho building will bo commenced immediately. The local principal of tho Order, therefore, communicated with the Head House of the Order in Franco. The French authorities approved of the Bcbemo, and voted a sura sufficient for carrying out tho work. Mr Moody has secured tho contract for tho building at £47 80. It is estimated when tho building and all tho intornal fittings are completed that tho cost will run into something like £SOOO. A MATTER OF SENTIMENT.
