[By Telegraph—Jfres3 Association.) Wanganui, last night. At the Wanganui Spring Meeting the weather was fine and tho going good. Thero was a attendance. Tho results are:— Spring Handicap. The Shannon 1, Loch Erin 2, Halberdier 3. Scratched: Convoy, Tukapu, Legion of Honor, Fairy Dream, Maro, Westerly. Time 61sec, divs. £2 2s 6d and £3 4s 6d. Moutoa Hack Handicap.—The Ganger 1, Waireka 2, Rustique 3. Punawai was scratched, and Rita was left at the post. Time 1.11 4 5, divs. £5 7s and £4 11s. Wanganui Guineas. —Achilles 1, Porirua 2, Golden Vein 3. Ringman was scratched. Time 1.42 1-5, div. £1 4a 6d. First Handicap Hurdles.—Waiwera I, Frost 2, Evening Wonder 3. Scratched : Smithy and Roer. Won easily. Time 4.11, div. £2 3s 6d. First Hack Hurdles.—Levanter 1, Glencoe 2, Old Gun 3. Scratched : Hellespont and Urukahika. Time 3.8 8-5, divs. £2 8s and 15s 6d.
