Tho following Bills passed the final stages : —Methodist Church of Australasia in Now Zealand, Pharmacy Act Amendment, Tauranga Endowments Resorves, | Inebriates’ Institutions Amendment, Military Pension, Municipal Coronations, and Public Health Amendment. Tho House resumed at 7.80, Tho Native and Maori Land Laws Amendment Bill, Workers Compensation for Accidents Act Amendment Bill, Railways Authorisation Bill, and Waihi Hospital District Bill passed the final stages in Committee. On the Factories Act Amendment Bill, tho clause proposed at tho previous sitting relating to a half-holiday for the shops and factories in small boroughs, was withdrawn. Tho Bill passed the final stages.

The Bill to amend tho law relating to the width of main streets in townships, passed all stages.

LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL. The Council met at 2.30. Tho second reading of the Midland Railway Petitions Settlement Bill was carried by 19 to 1. The Methodist Church Bill and Pharmacy Bill passed the final stages. The following Bills passed the final stageß without amendment : Midland Railway Petitions Settlement, Military Pensions Act Amendmont and Railways Authorisation,
