SO CALLED ERROR OF JUDGMENT

By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Sydney, Oct. 2.

Mr See, replying to Mr Carruthers, said it was a party question, in so much as if the resolution was carried the Government must resign or there would be a dissolution. He would havs preferred a vote of censure on the grounds of the whole administration with the Friedman case as one of the indictments. He denied that the principle of trial by jury was threatened, and claimed that the usual practice was followed. He asked the House not to blame the Attorney-General for committing an error of judgment, especially when the error was on the side of clemency.
