HORSE PARADE. By telegraph—Press Association— Dunedin, last night. For the A. and P. Society’s Horse Parade, 44 entries have been received. In all aged stallion, there are 21 exhibitors, entering from Christchurch to Invercargill. The entries for the Society's first competitions already number over 400, LIBERAL CANDIDATE. The Liberals at Milton have selected Mr J. Ascott to oppose Mr James Allen for the Bruce seat at the forthcoming elections.
