OPPOSITION PRESENTS.
GOLD .WATCII FOR MR PIRANI, CARVERS AND FISH SLICERS FOR «1R HUTCHESON. .(Per Press Association), WELLINGTON, iast night. The Opposition party in the House lias arranged for presentations to be made to Messrs Pirani and Hutcheson, who are retiring at the close of the .session, from active participation in politics. In Mr Pirani’s case the token of esteem from the party will take the form of a gold watch, and Mr Hutcheson will receive a set of carvers and fish slicers.
Miss Allen, daughter of Mr Jas. AI Icn, will also he the recipient of a presentation from file Opposition partyoil the eve of her marriage.
