Tho Marylobone Committee have approved of the proposal to widen the bowling crease one foot each way. It was decided to be undesirable to have wickets prepared artificially. The captains’ decision of 1900 in regard to illegal bowling had done so much good that it was considered unnecessary to suggest a drastic measure, but a hope was expressed that the counties would decline to play doubtful bowlers.
