Hon, Hall-Jones’ Promises.

New Plymouth, last night. The Btrattord-Tcko railway is making good progress. The engineer v. ired to-day that the first engine had arrived at Toko. The first sod was turned by Mr HallJones on March 28th, when ho promised that the railway should be ready for opening on Boxing Day. There is every prospect of this being accomplished.
