TROTTING RACES. [by TELESBATH PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, last night. The Wellington trotting races were held to-day. The totalisator tickets were XI on the first race and 10s on the others. The following are the results: — Trial Handicap: Brookfield 1, B.J.N. 2, Trio 3. Divs., XI 7s and XI 14s. Railway Handicap : Steve Hart 1, Plunger 2, St. Kilda 3. Divs., XI 14s and 16s. Pony Handicap : Daybreak 1, Timite 2, Miss French 3. Divs., XI 3s and 9s. Wellington Trotting Club Handicap: Carrie 1, St. Simon 2, Sweet Marie 3. Divs. 14s and Bs. President's Handicap : Ned Kelly 1, Perwith 2, Comet 3. Divs., XI 8s and X 8 4s. Pony Handicap : Severcliffe 1, Miss French 2, Daybreak 3. Divs. 17s and XI. Dash Handicap: St. Simon 1, Leda 2, Steve Hart 3. Divs,, £2 19s and X 4.
