By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, last night. The Agent-General’s cablegram, dated London, November 11th, states: —“No alteration in the mutton markot since last week. Damaged carcases having been put on the market, have hurt prices. No alteration in lamb, which is dull of sale for all classes. There is a better demand for beof. New Zealand hinds are at 4d, fores 2jfd. Butter steady, Australian 112 s; no alteration in cheese. Hemp: Quiet; high prices arc restricting business. Light stocks are on hand. There is a disposition to sell distant homp. New Zealand, good fair Wellington, spot, £4B ; February to April shipments, £Bl. The stock consists of 169 tons, as against 1967 tons last vear.
