Excepting for Myburg, Fouehc’s, and Vessel’s commandos, the whole of Cape Colony south and oast of the Transvaal line is almost clear of Boers. Fourteen more Boer leaders have been banished, including Kloppor, ox-chairmau of the Volksraad.

Lieutenants Stewart and Trotter loft by the lvimutaka for New Zealand, and the following are also on their way to tiie colony by tho Damascus : Captain Drury, 345 Brad law, 3328 Shaw, 3350 Cameron. 3497 llcwett, 3744 Hodgson, 3260 Mazzattene, 3755 Monk, 3636 Mchotus, 3683 Watson, 3249 Kennall, 4447 Scott, 4505 Booth, 4515 Doag, 4283 Donnelly, 4295 Harold, 4422 Miller, 4033 Morris, 4049 Kosewaruo, 4569 Short, 4490 Conn. The Premier has received a cable from Colonel Porter stating that Lieutenants Heckler, Sheva, Cribb, and McLean, Ser-geant-Major Davis, and Sergeants I! on an. McDonald, J. McDonald, and Henry arc returning, all well. Major Andrew, of the Sixth Contingent, has cabled the Premier that all are well, and no serious illness has appeared among the men. They have captured 35 waggons and nine prisoners since last eablo.
