Wanganui Hospital.

By Telegraph—Press Association. Wanganui, last night. The Hospital Board this afternoon decided to call for tenders for the erection of a 21-bed ward addition to the hospital. Subscriptions of over £IOOO have been raised in the town and district, which, with the Government subsidy of 24s in each pound, is thought to be ample for the purpose. It is to be called the Victoria Memorial Ward, in honor of the late Queen. The Board also supported the proposal of the Napier Hospital Trustees re the erection of a cancer hospital.
