THEFT OF SAVINGS BANK DEPOSITS.

Walter William -labor Hall, recently a cadet in the Postal Department, was charged to-day at Motueka with embezzling various sums, most of which were handed him for deposit in the Post Office Savings Dank. The total defalcations amounted to £261. Accused pleaded guilty, and will go before the Supreme Court for sentence.
