VALIDATION COURT.
TIIE APPEAL KE TAIiOKA BLOCK. (Special to Times.) Wellington, last night. The Validation Court appeal affecting the Xahora block has been set down third on the list of eases for argument in the present session of the Court of Appeal, which opened to-day. The Judges enquired whether there were any fresh papers, probably in anticipation of the parties agreeing to state a special case as suggested at the last sittings, but the reply was in the negative, l’resumably. therefore, the case will be argued on its merits as presented on the papers tiled at the last sittings. It is expected that it will be reached about the middle of the week.
