lor Merinos there is good competition amongst Home and Continental buyers. Crossbreds are unchanged. The following sales are reported: Moorak U'-d, Grassdale and Mangatoro 4jd, Ilakateramea B;[d. The first series of sales for 1902 open on January 21st, and the second on March 11th. Both sales are limited to a quarter of a million bales. Tho third sales will take placo on April 29th, and are limited to four hundred thousand bales.

At tho tallow auctions 775 casks were offered, and 450 sold. Prices are unchanged.
