A Serious Explosion.

(By Telegraph—Press Association.) Auckland, last night. An explosion of fumigating materials on tho steam launch Presto gutted the fore-part of the launch. The seats, lining, floor, and bulkhead were blown to atoms. Bradney, the man in charge, escape with a few bruises. The launch was found to bo making water, and on reaching town was taken up for examination. When the explosion took place there were three large tubs on board of tho launch, and some other gear for fumigating purposes, all of which were blown overboard.
