WELLINGTON NEWS.
By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, last night. The body of Seaman Niblick, one of tho men drowned through the capsizing of H.M.S. Archer s boat, was recovered yesterday. As Capt. Bolicston had alroady held an inquiry and decided that tho cause of ueath was accidental, the Coroner will hold no inquest. Tho Countess of Ranfurly, attended by Gaptam Ilill-Trevor, left for Nelson this morning to open the new Conservatoire of Music. It is stated that, as the result of Saturday night’s decision of the New Zealand Amateur Bowing Association, some of tho Auckland and the whole of the Dunedin and Christchurch clubs will secede from the Association. Mr Justice Cooper reports to the Premier that the Arbitration Court has now disposed of all. matters ready forbearing in the South Island. To-day the Court leaves for Auckland to hear tho Waihi dispute, after which it will sit in Wellington, and then in Auckland again. The President further intimates that tho Court hopes to be able by tho close of tho year to have all tho work brought up-to-date.
