An Enquiry.
(To the Editor of the Times.) Sin, —Where is our loquacious friend Frank Harris '? He upbraided me for not giving my name, when he ought to have credited "me for my modesty. But I intended to give it, and give Mr Harris such a dressing down as would make him wonder where 'e were. But what is the use of wasting good ink on him '? I hold back until he would reply to Mr Stafford, but that gentleman has again apparently knocked him clean over the ropes, and ail the sponging of his seconds will not bring him to life again. No, Mr Francis Harris, it would not be fair for me to take a fall out of a man who has already been so badly beaten. The other Francis is too good for you every time.—l am, etc., Independent,
