[ Special to Times. | Wellington, last night. Mr Collins has given notice to ask the Minister of Marine if he is aware that on the 20th of May the Shaw-Savill Company’s steamer Tokomaru struck bottom at the anchorage in Poverty Bay, off Gisborne, and that on the 20th July the Tyser Company’s Tomoana struch bottom at tho anchorage at the same place ; also, if any enquiry was held regarding the two cases, and have any stops been taken to acquaint the seafaring community with the danger attending upon anchoring in the locality referred to ; if not, why not ?
