The American Steel Corporation is preparing to fight to a finish. It has telegraphed its intention to oxpol members of tho Amalgamated Metal Workers’ Association from all mills controlled by the Corporation. The strike is extending to the National Steel, Federal Steel, and National Companies. The strikers will then number a hundred and sixty-five thousaud. The Metal Workers’ Association declares that its members embrace seventy-live per cent, of the Steel Corporation employees.
