Speaking on tho Loan Bill, Sir Michael Ilicks-Bcach said that the sums voted for tho war would suffice till the middle of February, and longer if tilings went well. It was, ho said, unlikely that it would be necessary to borrow again this financial .year. Already the war expenditure has been considerably reduced, while there is reason to anticipate a larger reduction soon.
