STARTLING REVELATIONS. MANIPULATION OF SHARES. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright London, July 27. . Mr Barnes, the Official Receiver, lias made startling revelations in connection with the London and Globe Financo Corporation handing shares to a BritishAmerican Corporation, with the view of recovering indebtedness prior to the publication of the balance-sheet in December last. lie instanced tho transfer of two hundred thousand of the Westleroi Mining Company’s shares at par, cx dividend. Tho Westleroi had five undeveloped claims costing 38,000 dollars, representing issues of capital to tho extent of 437,000 dollars. Secondly, tho London and Globo Corporation paid the BritisfhAmerican Corporation 200,000 dollars by giving a half-interest in five claims which cost 35,000 dollars. Mr Barnes has been invited to liquidate tho London-Globo Corporation, in conjunction with a committee of inspection. The Westleroi is an American Company. It was registered in 1898 to purchase from tho BritishAmerican Corporation twelve claims in Kootenay district.
