TAMPERING WITH A DRILL. . [By Telegraph—Press Association.] Grevmouth. last night. It was discovered to-day that the bore hole at Dobson had been tampered with. The now drill not working right to-day, it was drawn up and found to be blunted. Then the drill was tried on hard stone. It bored well enough. Then a rod was sent down with hot wax at the end, and it brought up a quantity of steel filings. About a pound weight was fished up altogether from the bottom of the bore. There is no suspicion as to who is the culprit.
