FREEZERS’ UNION. [By Telegraph—Press Association.] Christchurch, last night. Tho Conciliation Board this afternoon heard evidence in a case brought by the Freezers' Union against the Christchurch and Canterbury Meat Freezing Companies. Evidence was given on behalf of tho men, but the employers were not represented, and no evidence was called on their behalf. The Board will probably give its award on Friday. BIG GAME. The Canterbury Acclimatisation Society has yoted X-00 to the Government to assist in the importation of big game, restricting the importations to such game as have their habitation above or near the snow lino.
