CUSTOMS OFFICIALS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) Wellington, last night. It is reported that Mr D. McKellar, Collector of Customs at Wellington, is retiring from the Government sorvico, and that ho will bo succeeded by Mr Johnston, of Invercargill. Mr Patten, the Collector at Christchurch, also retires, being succeeded by Mr Mills, of Westport. AN OLD MAN’S DEATH. The man named Charles Pressman, injured by a railway engine on Friday, at a crossing, died ill tho hospital. The old fellow was very well known. Ho lived for many years in a yacht hauled up out of the water, on tho Thorndon Esplanade.
