The General Executive Committee report the financial result to be 22.1 per cent under the estimated cost. The Committee voted £IOO to the Secretary, a bonus of seven guineas to Mr Dobson, city surveyor, over and above payment for the plans, and undertook to make good all damage to the Domain, Victoria Square, and city streets caused by the work of erecting decorations.
