THE CADETS.
A SERIOUS ALLEGATION. DINING-ROOM ALLEGED TO BE WORSE THAN PIGSTY. (Special to Times.) Christchurch, last night. The Wanganui headmaster wired home, saying that tho cadet dining-room is worse than a pigsty, besides being a mile away, and he declined using it, and asked for further funds, which were sent. Tho Premier, on being appealed to, ropliod that there was no truth in tho statement that tho catering was unsatisfactory, and tho parents may rest assured that the cadets will bo well cared for.
Mr Townley is watching the interests ol the Gisborne cadets.
