PERSONAL.

The Worship the Mayor is expected to return from the South on Wednesday morning. Mr W. Berry leaves Gisborne for Wellington this morning to take up his usual sessional duties on Hansard staff. Colonel Gudgeon, C.M.G., was a through passenger by the Zealandia. Mr Lionel DeLautour, who has been for the last five years in India, returned to Gisborne on Saturday morning. Mr J. Coleman will act as arbitrator on behalf of the Gisborne Freezing Company in connection with the Kaiti leases. Mr C. J. Parker, of Te Arai, returned from the South on Saturday. Mr Reginald Brett has returned to Gisborne, and expects to make a start with boring operations for petroleum during the month of August.
