A STABBING AFFRAY.
ACCUSED DISCHARGED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) Wellington, last night. A long-standing charge of stabbing ono Henry Burton, brought against a man named Thos. Brown, a seaman, was disposed of by the S.M. to-day, when accused was discharged. The affair aroso out of ajmidnight brawl in Victoria street, and the story of the prisoner was that lie had defended himself against Burton and two other men, who had tried to rob him.
