PRECAUTIONS AT HOTELS.
' By Telegraph—Press Association. Wanganui, last night. At the annual meeting of the Licensing Committee to-day, it was decided that night-porters bo appointed to chief hotels, tefl-tale clocks to be used, and facilities to be given the police to ascertain if a porter is carrying out his duties. Experts are to report as to fire escapes.
