ALLEGED WIFE-POISONER.
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) Auckland, last night,
A man named Emil Berger was arrested at Ardmore last night by Constable Lanigan, on a charge of attempting to poison his wife, Adelaide Berger, by giving her aconite in her food. He has been remanded to Auckland gaol for a week.
