(By Telegraph—Press Association.) Christchurch, last night. The Trades and Labor Council has passed a resolution to ask Government to place railway worshops on the same terms as private employers’ shops in the matter of overtime, and to make each day stand by itself for overtime. The Canterbury Industrial Association to-night appointed a committee to consider the question of establishing technical classes and a museum of industries.
