AUCKLAND SPECIAL.
BOYAL TBIP. f Special to Times. | - ■■j Au.-island, last night. It is not defiir ■ .vy decided, although there is a possiY ity, that their Boyal Highnesses will v isit the Wairarapa. As far as I underst md, if time permits, the' idea was to go right through from Wellington to Woodville, and back to Wellington by the Government line. A good deal will depend on the weather, and as to whether their Boyal Highnesses can stand the fatigue of the long train journey in one day. BEMOUNTS.
The remounts for South Africa will b e shipped in the Cornwall on Friday. The Cornwall, it will be remembered, was the troopship that conveyed the 4th contingent of rough riders, including the Gisborne section, to South Africa. MB CABROLL.
The Hon. James Carroll arrived here from Botorua this evening. He informs me that everything is progressing favorably at Botorua. The natives are being well cared and provided for, and the Gisborne lot are having a grand pionic. Mr Carroll and a largo number of Gisbornites in Auckland intend witnessing the Grand National Meeting, commencing to-morrow.
