Auckland, last night. All hopes are now abandoned for the brigantine Linda Weber, eight weeks out from Gisborne to Ngunguru in ballast. She was last heard of off tho East Cape on April 28rd. She was owned by Captain D. Shaw, of Auckland, and was insured for .£.300.
