A SERIOUS COLLAPSE.
TRACTION ENGINE CRASHES THROUGH A BRIDGE. FIVE MEN KILLED. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Melbourne, May 15. A new bridge at Bendigo was being tested by a traction engine and large steam roller, when a section collapsed, and the driver, fireman, and four other men, including Mr A. E. Boldt, a well, known contractor, were killed. Others were buried in the debris, and escaped with slight injuries.
