GREAT NEW DOCK PROPOSED,

Tho Atlantic Transport Company and Lcyland’s proposo to spend two millions sterling on docks in London on tho American model, thus saving two-thirds of tho expenses of handling freights. Ottawa,. May 15. Tho Canadian House of Commons has voted twenty thousand sterling to subsidise by ono-half tho direct lino of steamers. France subsidises the other half.
