IKE SEVENTH CONTINGENT.
TO LEAVE NEW ZEALAND TO-DAY.
COLONEL rOETER’S STAFF,
By Telegrnph—Press Association. Wellington, last night. It has been definitely decided that the Seventh Contingent embark on Saturday afternoon. The men leave camp at 2.30 p.m., and March to Jervoie Quay, where they will bo addressed by the Govornor, the Premier, and the Mayor. The total number of officers and men is 494. The Contingent is under the command of Lieutenant-Colonel Porter, with the following staff: Adjutant, Captain G. R. Johnston; Quarter-master,Captain H. D. Coutts; Staff-Licutenont, H. H. Brown; Surgeon-Captains Dawson and Andgabitis ; Staff Regimental Sergeant-Major F. G. Price; Quarter-master, SergeantMajors A. G. Smith (Right Wing) and Butler (Left Wing); Farrier, SergeantMajor D. Fraser; Orderly-roon Sergeant, E. Taylor; Orderly-room Corporal, F. Crespin : Bugler, Sergeant C. Woods ; Dispenser, W. Jeffrey. The troopship Gulf of Taranto arrived from Sydney this morning, and has gone into quarantine. She will probably bo berthed in the morning.
