A FEARFUL DEATH. By Telegraph—Press Association. New Plymouth, last night. A man named Dimmer was working at the gravel pit on Ilcnwood" road, when a fall of sandstone occurred, burying him to the armpits. When extricated and examined medically', lie was found to have sustained severe internal injurios, besides a laceration of tho right arm above tho elbow, a fracture of botli bones of the foroarm, and both thighs fractured. He was removed to tho hospital, and expired an hour and a half after admission.
