The masters here said they were willing to accopt tho Dunedin award, but the ;inen held out for better conditions. Two liiore holidays are added to the Dunedin list, but 48 hours’ work and a shilling an hour pay in all branches of tho trade, are adhered to. The men asked for extra pay for the collar makers.'
