WELLINGTON HARBOR BOARD.
A SATISFACTOEY EECOED. ALL-BOUND INCREASES. [By Telegraph—Press Association.] Wellington, last night. The annual roport of the Harbor Board shows that the total receipts of the Board since its constitution in ISSO have been £1,296.493, of which the revenue has been £1.026,509, and loan moneys have been £269,954. The total expenditure during the same period was £1,223,513, of which £771,623 was expended on working expenses, £423,355 upon capital account, and £23,505 was contributed to sinking funds. The statement of profit and loss shows a balance to the credit of the Board of £7910. In respect to the working account-, the gross amount written off for depreciation of structures' was £14,107, as compared with £12,829 in the previous year. The balance of over liabilities is estimated at £187,275, being an increase for twelve months of £12,145. The summary of exports passed over the wharves shows the following increases ‘of tonnage compared with lost veer :—Frozen meat, 1753 ; tallow, 453 ; butter, 2099 ; cheese, 2507. The number of bales of wool stored was 57,454 in excess of any previous year.
