Auckland, last night.' At the Federation Commission to-day, James Hume (miller) and J. O. Macky (warehouseman) spoke against Federation. A deputation from -the Auckland Agricultural Association said that the question had not been fully discussed by the Association, but the general opinion was favorable to Federation, They did not, however, advocate rushing into Federation, but thought it wise to wait for some years and study the subject further, snd gain experience from the experiment in Australia.
