Per Press Association, —Copyright, Sydney, March 7. The inquest into the Sydenham railwayaccident is proceeding. Admass of evidence regarding the condition of the line lias been taken, much centring round the dented rail removed after the accident, which some witnesses hold was the cause of the derailment.

Experts declare that the dent was made by the engine after it was derailed.
