BEAUTIFYING ASSOCIATION.

(To the Editor of the Times.) Sir _lf, as Mr DeLautour puts_ it, the Beautifying Association is a willing and loyal auxiliary to the Borough Council, then I say let it do something that will benefit the borough. There has been too much playing into the hands of Haiti and AVhataupoko in the past. If the upper part of the town is to go ahead something should be done to attract people that way. It would be .a step in the right direction for the Association to devote its energies to the improvement of the present recreation ground. "When Haiti and "Whataupoko are joined to the borough something [ might be attempted on top of Haiti Hill. —I am, etc., JRaxspaver. -
