ALLEGED ASSAULT.

A NAPIER CASE,

By Telegraph—Press Association. Napier, last night.

Harry .Dunn, tho well-known wrestler, was brought up at tho Magistrate’s Court this morning charged with assaulting an elderly man named Georgo Beverage, cook at tho Caledonian Hotel. Tho evidence disclosed that Dunn and his brother wero skylarking in the hotel and talking rathor loudly, and plaintiff thinking there was a row on, interfered, with the result that ho was hurt.

Dunn swore that plaintiff was the aggressor, and that if any injury had boon inflicted it had been dono in self-dofenco. Tho case was dismissed.
