Fire Near Waipawa.

[BY TEREQRAPB —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Napier, last night,

The Patangata Hotel and store, about ten miles from Waipawa, were burned down at about three o’clock this morning. There is nothing to show the origin of the fire, which started in the store. The proprietor. J, A. Young, was away at the time. His wife and two other inmates barely had time to escape in their night clothes. Very little was saved. The hotel was owned by F. W. Robjohns, of Napior. The total insurances on the building and stock was £1465.
