PETITION TO BE LODGED TO-DAY,

We are informed on good authority that the petition in regard to the Borough elections will be lodged this morning in the Magistrate’s Court. Due notice will be given when the will enquire into the matter. It is stated that if it should turn out that the three candidates are equal, the Magistrate cannot himself give a casting vote, and therefore another election would be necessary. .
